Peripheral Neuropathy Symptoms

  • Or has it now progressed to hot burning (or freezing), throbbing pain especially when you’re trying to sleep?
  • Have you been diagnosed with neuropathy?

Then pay close attention, because you could be experiencing the early signs and symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. Symptoms often begin in the feet with a steady onset of numbness, tingling, shooting pain and loss of feeling.

First, you need to know that "peripheral neuropathy" is not considered a single type of disease. It's a medical term used to describe a whole series of disorders resulting from damage to the body's peripheral nervous system.

Most likely, damage to the sensory peripheral nerves in your feet is what's causing the symptoms. But before you panic, you should see your doctor for proper diagnosis.

We are pleased to let you know, Prolotex™ Therapy Socks have helped thousands of people with their neuropathy foot problems.

  • Feeling like you're already wearing socks when you know you're not
  • Feet may feel like they're burning and/or freezing

  • Erratic shooting nerve pain
  • Feet and toes may sweat
  • Skin will be sensitive to touch

Symptoms depend on the type of nerves affected (motor, sensory, or autonomic) and where the nerves are located in the body. One or more types of nerves may be affected.

Common symptoms associated with damage to the motor nerve are muscle weakness, cramps, and spasms. Loss of balance and coordination may also occur. Damage to the sensory nerve can produce tingling, numbness, and a burning pain.
